Yes, it’s another education blog! Education is a huge topic, endlessly fascinating to me. I used to have a public radio show focused solely on education decades before personal podcasting evolved. I once had a blog focused just on creativity. But since I still write two other blogs on unrelated topics, I’m combining more personal interest mingled with education themes here just to keep up!
The public sometimes forgets that teachers have lives beyond the classroom. And certainly what’s happening in politics affects us all, not just the schools. I’ve learned a lot over decades devoted to educating other peoples’ children, while raising my family, and caring more recently for my elderly mom. I’ll share insights and opinions from time to time on other issues I’m involved with.
The reason I’m finding time to write is that I’m part of the Great Resignation, one of the mass of teachers exiting the classroom. As you can imagine, there’s plenty to say about that. Thanks so much for reading!
